Terms of Service — Birdie Bag

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Birdie Bag ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The marketplace

Birdie Bag is a peer-to-peer marketplace where users can list, buy, and sell pre-owned golf clubs. We are not the seller of items listed by other users. We facilitate transactions and process payments on behalf of sellers.

3. User accounts

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to buy or sell on the Service.

4. Listings and sales

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of listings, including condition, specifications, and photos. Buyers are responsible for reviewing listings before purchase. All sales are final unless the item materially misrepresents the listing.

5. Payments and fees

Payments are processed via Stripe. Sellers set the shipping cost per listing. Birdie Bag may charge a service fee, which will be disclosed at checkout. Payouts to sellers are released after the buyer confirms delivery.

6. Shipping

Sellers must ship items within 5 business days of a completed sale and provide tracking information. See our shipping guide for best practices.

7. Refunds and disputes

Buyers may request a refund within 3 days of delivery if the item does not match the listing. Disputes are reviewed by Birdie Bag and resolved at our discretion.

8. Prohibited conduct

You may not list counterfeit clubs, misrepresent condition, circumvent the platform to complete off-site sales, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." Birdie Bag is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
